You Will Love This!

Please read my TERMS OF USE.

No matter what you are going through right now, it may have taken you by surprise, but it did not surprise God. He is eternal. He exists outside of time, in eternity. He created time only for man's stay on earth while we have the opportunity to love and accept Him as our Savior. He gave time a beginning and an end. He decides both and it will be as He wishes. He says He has seen the end from the beginning.

Stand and hold your arms out in front of you as if to lift a child. You are God (for this demonstration). Your right hand is the beginning of time, the creation of the earth. Your left hand is the end of time, the end of the earth and judgment of all mankind. All of "time" stretches between your hands. Eternity is everything that is not between your hands, without beginning or end.

You can see how you are outside of the created thing "time". You can look and see the entire thing called "time" from start to end. This is how He knows the end from the beginning. This is how He knows "His own" - those who will choose Him and be faithful until death, because He has seen the end.

This should give us great comfort, knowing that since He has seen all that will come to pass and all the choices we and others will make, nothing surprises Him. He has already planned a way out!!!

"No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13

Sure, that is talking about "temptation" and we are talking about the cruddy things that happen in life, but it still shows that God is faithful, isn't surprised by anything that happens in your life and has already provided a way out for you! Take heart, if you belong to Him, He is watching over you and is not only leading you, but is also your rear guard protecting you from behind. Isaiah 52:12 If you don't belong to Him yet, doesn't this sound like a great deal?

Today's freebie is the last of the Pods and Berries. I do so adore all the pods, berries and dried treasures of the fall! I hope you have enjoyed them all. One of the fastest growing, most beautifully shaped and splendidly blossoming trees in our area of the country is the Bradford Pear. It's shaped like a perfect plump teardrop fallen from heaven!

This is a page from a book I published of pictures from my back yard accompanying things God has taught me. Here you can see it blooming in the spring, with a cardinal perched at it's top bare branches in the winter, it's trunk pockmarked by our woodpecker and being used as a trellis by the ivy, and lastly a gorgeous pile of leaves carpeting the ground underneath it just now. Your freebies are it's fruit. Thank You Lord for your bountiful blessings! May we never take them for granted!

If you download, leave me some love at the bottom of this post and God bless your use of it!

Thank you for the smile you gave me with the Bradford Pear Berries, not that they are funny by anymeans, but my youngest son lives in Tulsa OK and they have planted 1000's of Bradford Pears as their unoffical city tree. In the Spring all the trees are in full bloom and that is lovely, BUT, as the flowers fall and begin to rot, my son says they smell like dirty gym socks, and we all know that isn't a nice smell. This from a young man that is very into his yard and landscaping, just not into Bradford pears. Makes me want to make a LO using them just to pick on him...LOL

Happy Holiday from Lois AKA Ladye in Texas
