We've all had times were our "bucket" is simply overflowing. It's all we can do to tread water and just barely keep our noses above water. It's a good time to take a step back, take a deep breath and gain perspective on the situation. My husband has a saying that I've found to be a true gem - "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result." By stepping back a moment to gain perspective and calming ourselves with deep breath, we afford ourselves an opportunity to see our part in what's going on and determine what we could change - so the result changes. We can't change others, but we surely can change ourselves, our attitudes and our actions. By changing what we are doing, how we are doing it or at least our attitude, we may well find some much needed relief. It's like jostling something that's stuck and then it breaks free. By changing our part of the situation, it sets things on a new course, or at a minimum we can feel better about it because we've changed our attitude. And above all, don't neglect these precious promises our Lord has given to those who have given their lives to Him.

  • "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
  • "Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6,7
Note: This is part two of what has become a four part posting so far, so please read from May 30th through four posts. I think you'll be as blessed by them as I am! God is soooooo amazing!

I'm excited to announce the release of My Favorite Things! I have made a GIANORMOUS kit of 123 of my most favorite and treasured graphics that I'm offering for only $4.99 with proceeds to defray the cost of running this freebie blog for all of you. It's an absolutely gorgeous kit with everything you could want in it - oh, and don't be fooled by "Mother's Day" being on there...it's only on two items and one of them is included without text, so this kit is good for unlimited designs! This is the same hi res hi quality you know I always give you. There is no junk filler either! I've truly given you only what I love and would want myself. Of course I have FREEBIE ADD ONS for you too! We've had an impressive run of some very bad things and I really need help with the expense of giving out daily freebies here. I've given you literally hundreds of gifts daily and now I need your help! Please support this blog by buying this!
